No, if its the 500i it’s a Piaggio engine and if it’s the 600i it’s an in-house engine ( seems like it was developed in Taiwan... ).
ps: seems like PGO T aiwan doing buggys and quads is not the same company as PGO the french carmaker .

SECMA is also making very nice road oriented buggy but they are most probably not imported/road homologated in the US.
But if you are searching for offroad buggies there are plenty of choice in here too.
